Sangean ATS-909X2 Multi-Band Radio

Widely regarded by ham radio enthusiasts as one of the best portable shortwave radios available, the Sangean Ultimate FM/SW/MW/LW/Air Multi-Band Radio now comes in an improved second generation ATS-909X2. This new model boasts significant enhancements in functionality while refining the already excellent features of the original. A notable upgrade is the smartly designed battery compartment, which is able to detect faulty batteries and determine their position when the radio is plugged in for charging in standby mode. With 1,674 station presets spread across 3 individual memory banks, this radio offers a wide range of options for the user. Additionally, it includes an Air band mode covering 118 MHz to 137 MHz, as well as an Auto Tuning System (ATS) on LW/MW/SW/FM bands. The radio also features 5 tuning methods: direct frequency tuning, auto scanning, manual tuning, memory recall, and rotary tuning.
