To utilize this feature, simply download the Amazon Alexa app on your compatible smartphone device running Apple iOS 11.0+ or Android OS 5.0+.

Additionally, the DPX505BT is outfitted with Bluetooth (ver. 4.2), enabling seamless wireless phone calls and music streaming from your smartphone to the head unit. Bluetooth hands-free communication for your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone is supported, allowing you to conveniently dial numbers, answer or end calls using the controls on the head unit.

For Apple iPhone users, connection to the DPX505BT can be established via USB or Bluetooth. Android smartphone users can only connect via Bluetooth. Furthermore, Apple Music Radio can be accessed through a USB or Bluetooth connection with your iPhone.

Furthermore, the unit features a single disc player that supports CD-Audio and finalized CD-R/CD-RW audio discs. The DPX505BT offers a variety of EQ presets for simple adjustments, including 8 presets, a 3-band Easy EQ, a 13-band Manual EQ for personalized tuning, Drive EQ mode to combat road noise, and Stage EQ for enhanced imaging. EQ settings can be stored individually for each source or applied universally.

The DPX505BT's 3-line LCD screen displays the clock, source, and song/artist information simultaneously, with the option to choose between English or Spanish text.
